who we are
who we are
WE ARE A FAMILY OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE ENCOUNTERED GOD AND COMMITTED OUR LIVES TO THE LORD OF THE HARVEST. EMPOWERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, WE ARE CALLED TO REACH THE HARVEST AND BRING TRANSFORMATION TO LIVES, FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES, AND NATIONS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
THE MISSION OF LORD OF THE HARVEST’S TABERNACLE INTERNATIONAL (LHTi) IS TO FAITHFULLY WIN SOULS FOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, NURTURE AND ESTABLISH BELIEVERS IN THE WORD OF GOD, AND EQUIP THEM THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT TO LIVE FOR HIS GLORY AND ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM.
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19-20
THE VISION OF LORD OF THE HARVEST’S TABERNACLE INTERNATIONAL (LHTi) IS TO BE A CHRIST-CENTERED AND SPIRIT-EMPOWERED CHURCH, FAITHFULLY GATHERING THE HARVEST OF SOULS FROM ALL NATIONS, RAISING COMMITTED AND MATURE DISCIPLES, AND ADVANCING THE KINGDOM OF GOD FOR HIS GLORY.
WE ARE GUIDED AND GROUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING CORE VALUES, WHICH REFLECT OUR IDENTITY, CALLING, AND COMMITMENT TO GOD. THESE VALUES ARE EXPRESSED THROUGH THE NAME LHTi, REMINDING US OF BOTH THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST AND OUR POSTURE OF HUMILITY BEFORE HIM.
Lordship of Christ
We uphold Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church and the center of our faith, message, and life. In all things, we seek to honor Him, submit to His authority, and follow His will. (Colossians 1:18)
Harvest of Souls
We are committed to the work of evangelism, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel and reaching out to the lost. We believe that the harvest is ready, and we are called to labor diligently for the Lord. (Matthew 9:37–38)
Truth of God’s Word
We stand firmly on the Word of God as our final authority in faith and practice. We are devoted to teaching sound doctrine and living according to the Biblical truth. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
Humility in Service
We embrace a life of humility, recognizing that all we have and all we do come from God. We are called to serve Him and others with a humble and willing heart. (Philippians 2:3–5)
WE, THE MEMBERS OF LORD OF THE HARVEST’S TABERNACLE INTERNATIONAL (LHTi), WITH ONE HEART AND CONVICTION, BELIEVE AND UPHOLD THE FOLLOWING TRUTHS AS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR FAITH AND PRACTICE:
We believe that the Bible, composed of the 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final standard for our faith, doctrine, and daily living, given by God to guide, teach, correct, and equip believers for righteous living. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all, holy, loving, and worthy of all worship and glory. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. Through His shed blood, He provided salvation for all who believe in Him. He ascended into heaven, intercedes for believers, and will return again in power and glory. (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, who indwells every believer, empowering, guiding, comforting, and sanctifying them to live a life that honors God. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are equipped to serve, minister, and advance the Kingdom of God. (John 14:26; Acts 1:8)
We believe that all people have sinned and are in need of salvation. Salvation is by God’s grace alone, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and not by human works or personal merit. Through Christ, believers receive forgiveness of sins, new life, and the gift of eternal life. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–9)
We believe that every person must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ. True salvation results in a transformed life, where believers walk in obedience to God and continue to grow in Christlikeness through the power of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of true believers who are called to worship God, study His Word, grow in fellowship, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. The local church exists to nurture believers, equip disciples, and advance the mission of God. (Ephesians 4:11–13)
We believe that the Church is called to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations, preaching the Gospel, winning souls, and raising believers who will live for the glory of God and advance His Kingdom. (Matthew 28:19–20)
We believe in the visible and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the blessed hope of eternal life and the promise of God prepared for all who belong to Him. (John 14:3; Revelation 22:12)
